Sex: Steer
Sire: In God We Trust
Dam: Donor 287 (Unleased Beast x Maine/Brangus)
Breed: American
DOB: November
Comments: Lots 1, 2, and 3 are out of our 287 donor that is sure to leave her mark on the American Steer show scene. We think these 3 are pretty special! "Dos" is the Full Brother to UNO, which the Cleavinger Family sucessfully showed all summer and went on to be Breed Champion ABC at Houston. In the right hands, I truly feel that Lot 1 could be just as good as his brother. He is very similar in his build and look. He has an incredible hair coat and could be something next winter in Cowtown.

Comments: Great American cross steer, with and incredible look and an even better attitude. Lot 5 could be a great calf for a first year showman with his gentle disposition and how great he moves with his head held up. He'd be a blast all summer long, and could run at them Haired or Slicked.

Comments: I tried everything I could to not have a white one this year, but when they are this good, I don't think it really matters. His huge ribbed, big backed, square built and tall fronted. Read him to be Light or Middleweights in the Charolais next spring.

Sire: Solid Gold
Dam: Irish Whiskey
Breed: Black Cross
DOB: September
Comments: This Solid Gold calf gives you one heck of a look from the side, and an even more impressive view from behind. He is extremely gentle, flat backed, big hip, and choked neck. I am a big fan of showing in the Black Cross Division at the slicked show and think they give you about as good of odds for Branding.

Sex: Steer
Sire: Duncan
Dam: Donor 317 (HL 178xHL117)
Breed: Hereford
DOB: August
Comments: These 3 Flushmates are out of a Red & White baldy I bought from Horn that is turning into quite the cow and if you study these calves you will see why. This Hereford steer is stout, bold and big boned as any with a choked throat to boot. Had good haired this winter, but rubbed a lot out, so I sheared him and I think you can see that he would make a dang fine shearing one as well.

Sire: Duncan
Dam: Donor 317 (HL 178xHL117)
Breed: Red Cross/Simi/OKC Hereford
DOB: August
Comments: Lot 14 is the heaviest muscled calf I have had this year. Huge boned, huge backed, huge hipped. He is really gentle as well. Not sure which breed he fits best in, or if he wouldn't make an awesome OKC Hereford. Lots of options here.

Comments: Might have saved the best for last! As cocky and good-looking of a calf as you will find. Had big hair this winter, but with shear unbelievably well. I noticed several Hereford cross steers getting branded with Mullinex judging and this one checks a lot of his boxes. He is showy, big hipped, big bodied, and great structured. If you choose to shear him, he might even be better in the Maine or Red Crosses in San Antonio. Several options with this calf.

donor287.jpgSelling: 1 IVF Tray of Oocytes
Donor: Donor 287 (Unleashed Beast x Maine/Brangus)
Comments: Truly offering the best we have with these genetic packages on our top 2 American Donors. 287 is simply a no miss cow no matter the mating. I describe her as ultra feminine in her makeup, with a dead level top and hip, big feet, flat jointed, and ultra squishy in her pasterns. Her best quality might be her breed character, as she is huge eared, with plenty of navel, but really choked throated; which allows her to throw American classifying steers when mated to Clubby Bulls. Her second calf out of Ready to Rumble looked lights out in the Heavy's at Fort Worth in 2017 but it was a very challenging year... and ended up placing 3rd in the Heavy Weight Brangus in Houston (Pictured as a calf and at Houston). Her 3rd calf was a heifer by Lovin' the Business that is a sight to see, and is turning into quite the cow herself around here. That year we started to flush her and got Uno the steer that won Champion ABC for the Cleavinger Family at Houston this year. Her natural calf was a Heifer that I will be offering interest in this June in The Summer Exchange Female Sales. This year as you can see I loaded up as many recips as I could find with her embryos and I am pretty tickled with the set she produced for me in this sale. Needless to say, next year I should have twice as many and I am more pumped about this years calving season than I have been about any! After this fall I am running low on embryos on 287 and 235, so I left them open and I am offering a chance to get these genetics into your herd. I think her steers are as good as I can make, and her females with be worth their weight in gold. I apologize for the picture of her, that I had to dig deep into the archive to find, but it was the only one I have of her and it must have been taken on an early generation IPhone! No matter what that picture looks like, I think you can tell that this cow works and produces as good of American Cross cattle that you will find!

donor235.jpgSelling: 1 IVF Tray of Oocytes
Donor: Donor 235 (American Honey x JB253/KTK)
Comments: Now I do have a great picture of this awesome red beast of a cow. She is as monster boned and footed as you can make one, yet still moves with ease across the pasture. She is huge hipped, flat backed, deep bodied, and her neck comes out high from the top of her blades like you want them to. Study her picture, and see if you can draw a better one! Now for her progeny: Her first calf was out of Red Red Wine and ended up Res. Light Weight at Dallas in 2015. She did the same thing the next year with a calf sired by American Legion that the Daniel's family showed to Reserve Light Weight division at Dallas as well (Pictured). The next year I had a Bred Heifer (Pictured) by Solid Gold that I sold in the Summer Exchange sale that was lights out good and making a name for herself down in Reagan. The next year 235 had another Solid Gold bull calf that was shown by the Diebel family that ended up Res. Gert at San Antonio in 2018 (Pictured). This past year she had a calf by The General that branded for the Cleavinger Family in the Heavy Weight ABC's at Houston. And her natural calf by Lone Ranger will be offered as a Bred Heifer in The Summer Exchange Sales as well. Every bull calf that has been shown out of her has branded. Now how is that for consistency? Her IGWT in this sale is something special if you ask me, and I am offering you and opportunity to make you own! Both cows provide enough character to use what every clubby bull your heart desires, and I haven't found a bad match yet for either cow! If you wanted to use some of the up and coming American Cross or even one of the great DDD Purebred Brangus to make some females I wouldn't blame you for that either! Honestly, you can't go wrong!
